  1. Tough to say, I don't think it will be a great beach day.
  2. Dews dropping here. Stout NNE wind.
  3. The models showed a general backing of winds to the north and then north east. Wasn’t necessarily a defined fropa. not much of an air mass change behind it, but whatever it is is pushing south.
  4. The front is through Boston now. Winds are north.
  5. Those are sweet soundings on Sunday. Just need to work on fropa timing. Monday could be active too.
  6. When there is no shear and you have an outflow boundary like that, you tend to get those elongated looking cells.
  7. There is no upper level support for these storms. So the outflow is the main mechanism to cause them to develop. When that happens you get the storms to pulse more and aren’t sustained for long periods of time. The outflow is moving SSE. You can clearly see it on radar. But the mid level steering flow is more westerly. That’s what you are seeing.
  8. Terrible, but at least it gets hotter
  9. Outflow. Just hope we have some rain.
  10. He was hotter than ORH. He’s normally 20 degrees colder. Hmm.
  11. They said that about Logan too. Then it corrected mysteriously a few months later. Oh well.
  12. TDWR is kind of cool. Can see something on the north shore into interior NE MA where winds are more westerly. You can also see the seabreeze off Narragansett Bay moving into SE MA.
  13. It's a backyard dew so it always runs higher. But it's humid for sure. Probably 73-74 in a more mixed area in the open.
  14. 93/80. So far the hottest day here.
  15. I find the talk enjoyable vs analyzing if the upcoming rain event will be 55F or 40F.
  16. They'll move south again because it's November, 6 months of the year now.
  17. This stuff is great. Beats winter, but we don't have winter anymore.
