    Actually, recent summers although maybe not last year, have had hot weather July in August. June has been kind of cool. Not this year, especially second half.

    Mid to upper 70s dews today. Breathe it in. What a steamer.

    BOS has a seabreeze and ORH a bit lower on the dews, but many HIs are 95-100 in SNE. Just looking at the obs.

    2.3 is solid though….you aren’t getting +6 here in July. Furthermore the dews have likely helped from not getting to the upper 90s. So maybe high temps aren’t insane, but the heat index sure as hell is hot.

    Eh not really. Cold fronts used to happen too. I mean it’s not supposed to be 70+ dews for weeks on end. Although it seems that way.

    I guess there could be some good storms around especially NY state into wrn areas.

    It does look like the tail end of July will cool down a bit. Ridge retros into the Rockies.

    The steam is back Sunday so just Saturday where it’s less humid. But early next week the humidity will be down before returning mid week.

    The water well south of block Island is 76. That rapidly warmed….probably warmer eddy that has migrated north. That will fuel the dews.
