That AK ridge is tilting east too. That helps vs a west tilt imo. Might try to push PV further SSE.

Srn areas and lower elevations will struggle, but maybe areas like BDL will get 1-2? So when that LLJ gets shunted east, winds at 925 go SW and advect slightly cooler air at that level. That’s when areas like Kevin will cool slightly. But you’re right, it will be a battle. I even said Kevin’s area is close to the battle zone. We’ll see it get warmer again after 12z and even Kevin May mix at that time. It’s going to be rate dependent. If it’s like .1”/hr of liquid equivalent or less it won’t be much.

Warm tongue was progged to move into CT first. It then sort of gets pushed east while gaining some latitude.
