  1. Basically enjoy for the moment what ever falls and let’s hope we shake things up around the 20th. At least your locale can score.
  2. I've certainly been a meteorological winter punching bag for 2+years.
  3. If that look holds, my guess is we won't have to wait that long.
  4. Like seeing that Aleutian trough. Seems aided by MJO progression? Hopefully in time of the holidays.
  5. Classic EPO-No. So overrated for snow. Would need more of a -NAO to help there.
  6. As Wx2fish said to me, at least we have some highs now nosing in. Haven’t had that last two years.
  7. Yeah hasn’t moved much at all last 90 minutes or so. Still cold advecting.
  8. Yeah was going to say something similar. Although for me December going forward is tough.
  9. I've never even entertained the idea of snow tires. But I can see why in NNE. I guess for me if I was driving and noticed the road snow and ice covered as I was going uphill, I would likely just turn around. I've certainly driven on a snow covered hill...but your tire treads do matter. I once barely made it up my neighborhood in snow with lousy tires. Got new ones the next day.
  10. You can get around just fine in the snow with good tires. Even when I had my front wheel drive Accord, newer tires make a big difference. I had car in 14-15 so that should tell you a lot lol.
  11. Going to be hard to flip to snow east of Berks, but I wouldn't rule out some flakes in western CT to ORH county to end it. Just an overall lousy week outside of NNE. Hopefully the end of the 11-15 day improves.
  12. Satellite is funny. Snow covered in RI and bare in SNH in early December. That just about never happens.
  13. Early December has been a torch lately. But we have one chilly day and then moderates a bit. The stretch of 30s was pretty good I guess for this time of year and especially lately given how warm recent Decembers have started. But I mean those nasty days with 20s at day and teens at night. It's been a struggle to get below 22-23 or so for non-radiators.
  14. The GFS has two nice clipper looks going into Montreal. Would be nice to get that under LI for a change. I guess that's the new world lol.
  15. That s/w digs into the gulf. Going to be hard I think to see frozen in SNE east of Berks, but NNE has a shot.
