    Is it perfect, maybe not, but neither was the 6 week blitz in 2015 at first imo, but we managed lol. All you can do is look at the overall H5 look and let the pieces fall as they may.

    LOL it’s so true though. It’s a cold index, but when it comes to storms it’s much more precarious.

    And trust me, lord knows I can be negative so if I see something crappy I’ll call it out with no hesitation. But I don’t see that currently after next week.

    Yeah I love snow and sure maybe could find a better spot, but between the city, ocean, and family/friends….we here.

    If that ridge goes west into western AK then you have Ginxy rubbing it out to the EPO index as Cleveland west gets buried.

    After the 5th I think the ridge placement on the mean looks good. Granted GFS has it more girthy into the Plains, but after the 7-8 that changes too. That’s not a suppression look. Could the PV come south and squash? Maybe? But man I’ll take that look any day over the garbage we have had since 2011 aside from a week or two here or there.

    Who knows, maybe it could be cold and dry, but as the ridge moves further west, that does open up the door for chances after the 5-6 or so.

    There are definitely signs of some stuff coming down the pipe. I don’t think you’ll necessarily see it Show up 12 days out.

    If you have a shot, best area probably Princeton northward on east side of ORH hills and above 1K. Just seems like maximizing lift could help cool boundary layer in such a marginal atmosphere.

    Verbatim that's probably paste. You have a little unstable layer too there and decent SG. But you'll need elevation for sure. Such a marginal airmass.
