You should always have a plan living on the EC. That’s a given. But as john said, even if the gfs is right...:I don’t see something where a significant tropical system will cause widespread issues that some here are worried about.

I still enjoy cold and snow, but some on here really seem to run and hide during summer. After a couple of kids, it all changes.

This was the first summer that I really enjoyed. If I didn’t work, I tried to hit the beach whether it’s fresh or salt. It was great. I enjoyed the warmth. So I’m sort of with you. I love snow, but it’s gonna be a tough cold season if winter blows lol.

That was about as strong a wind sig as I've seen in the northeast. -
That was the winter of no cold air. Not surprising given the ENSO state, but a few noteworthy interior snow bombs. I was at PSU in NE PA at 1600' and we had over a foot. Another goodie was in April. Surprise paste job over 6" before Easter.

I noticed it on tropical tidbits. Not sure if other vendors have it.

The new gfs seems to somehow have a UHI component now lol. Take a look at surface temps. That almost looks too aggressive with UHI modeling.

Next week will only possibly give a rain chance. Flow is not enough to bring something into SNE.
