The SG on the models looks to be real good. I guess it's a matter of how much the dry air near 850 gobbles it up. But, if you want a weenie band somewhere, that is a good sign to see on models.

I’m not saying that someone in a narrow area can’t get three or 4 inches, but that large of an area of 3 to 6 inches looks overdone in my opinion.

12z RPM way east now. Basically not much NW of BDL-ORH-LWM FWIW. My guess is GFS may tick east too, or at least lessen frozen QPF anyways. These things are a PITA.

Go figure, 12z NAM with the baroclinic zone closer to coast, but QPF further east. It does show strong 700 fronto over SNE.

Sometimes it has wins this far out, but I think it might be an outlier. It's viable.

Aside from the light snow Wed, we are toast for about 8 days or so. Next up that means anything is Tuesday next week.
