  1. That was when you mentioned talking to the mtn, saying "I know you are doing your job with orographics...I know you are..it's just not happening this year."
  2. It was bad especially in the temp department, but locally for snowfall it was near normal. We had two snow events in April that saved it. I know it’s April, but the second snow event was powder...even during the day. This last winter was my first real shit winter since 11-12. 15-16 was pretty bad iirc in nrn MA and into Srn NH relative to normal.
  3. Beautiful blue skies, birds chirping, sun shining.....sure is nice. What clouds?
  4. Yeah this is nice. Demons whispering to me on my shoulder. COC on one side, Kevin's bald head on the other.
  5. 56.8 so far for the low. I’m not sure I’ve been that cool since I’ve lived here in mid July. Maybe a few other times were close.
  6. Maybe verbally. Kevin sure as hell physically ain't kicking me out.
  7. You don't need dews for storms all the time. Yesterday had dews within a couple of 60F and hail all over because of the cold pool.
  8. That's usually reserved for the big KU events, but even Gloucester is usually too far east for that. That's more cstl north shore in Essex county like Salem/Peabody. Usually winds aloft start turning east and pumping moisture off the water, while winds near and just inland from the coast are north. 1/2/14 was one that was not a classic KU...but they have wind off of 40+ SSTs into air that was barely above 0F. Absolute fluff bomb for Essex county, especially that area near Boxford.
  9. I'm outside a lot doing projects. I enjoy the heat and dews, but yeah....a break now and then is just fine. Just like in winter....it doesn't have to be -10 every day. 20s is just fine.
  10. We tried to tell 'em. Not like I stuck my neck out there.
  11. 69/61. Pretty dam nice and crystal clear now. When your Davis Dew is only 61...time for the suits.
  12. I definitely wouldn't mind a cold front to clean house with some 558 thicknesses and 82/52 stuff. That's been tough to do in recent summers.
  13. That was a fun storm despite the mess in the middle. Sure it could have been more, but not common to have WSW amounts that early in the season.
  14. Partly sunny and 80/60 is still pretty chamber.
  15. It broke on through to the other side.
  16. Ensembles show the uber heat staying west. Sort of MOTS (thank you Dick Albert) and although we'll get some bursts of heat, we'll be prone to fropas like we just had too.
  17. It will get hot with temps in the 90s. But yeah, cool off and dew drop later next week. Still warm though.
  18. Low dews from the NE today. Looks like it's clouding up in TOL. Hate to see it.
  19. Cool and 62 this morning with a NE wind. Looked like a touch of rain overnight.
  20. Funny story. About 10 years ago I went down to Marshfield heading for a day at the beach. We got there and it was one of those days where it was an extremely humid day. Winds went light onshore and this very shallow marine layer moved in. Maybe 100-200’ thick. Pea soup fog as the sun still shines through. I heard this mother who sounded like an extra on the set of The Departed say..” I came all the way down here for this ****ing shit?” I was dying.
  21. Weekend and beyond look pretty darn warm.
