    And trust me, almost every day I look around and wonder what we can do better as I sit in traffic. I hope to God we can find a better solution to traffic which ties into all of the above.

    The funny thing is that one could argue smart phones and devices are having an effect on reducing things like emissions. Many meetings can be perfectly held remotely. No longer need to be physically there. I can sit there in my footy PJs...maybe even nothing at all.

    What happens when your well has e-coli because of your neighbors doggie doo? The environment impacts from that should be examined.

    And what about a fracking pipe? Do you have any idea what that does to the environment around it? And oh by the way....the pocket pool that these lobbyists do to put this thing at an angle in the middle of towns, near schools etc. There no second thought as long as the pockets get lined. I see you talk about mowing down forests, but the fact of the matter is that many solar farms are built on places already cleared like land fills and hell even cranberry bogs down in SE MA.

    I have. There is always waste in something. But we are talking something that 1) will be a big benefit with reducing emissions and 2) an ever improving way of getting energy. Do you agree with Trump reducing regulations on things like clean air and water?

    Right. I see arguments like Steve is throwing out to counteract those benefits. It’s not even debatable.

    But your energy footprint if you will, is greatly reduced by the energy created with those panels. Not to mention they are getting more and more efficient.

    If he is saying acting in a moderate fashion that’s fine. At least it’s taking action. But if he’s saying he’s moderate in the way of just sitting there and not doing anything because earlier predictions never materialized....woof.

    So are you saying we shouldn’t have any policies to help combat rising emissions? Sitting and not doing anything is the worst possible thing we can do. You can debate how far to take it, but we need to invoke some policy here.

    And yeah ideally I’d like to see that ridging more in western NAMR, but at this point you won’t hear me being picky.

    It was real weenie 12z yesterday, but not as weenie previously at 00z yesterday. So I chalk it up to noise usually. As long as the big pieces of the puzzle are there, I’m ok with it.

    I think he means beyond next weekend. It looks fine. I didn’t see reverse. The ridging is more in the longitude of AK so storm track probably is near East Coast I’d imagine.
