  1. I'm not sure which event could do it, but I sort of want to pay attn to the second storm later Sunday and Sunday night for any chance of something white for the hills. I don't see anything definite....hell the storm may not happen...but the overall look with the trough and high to the north, is interesting. I suppose Friday could do something, but that is starting to look more like some rain in SNE as it stretches out and doesn't amplify.
  2. LOL, yeah not much good that does when it's Margaritaville at 850. Terrible pattern for quarantining. When the weather is nice, everyone is outside and social distancing is not exactly the first thing on their minds. You could argue this pattern is not helping because once it gets nice...everyone wants to be outside. I heard the public garden yesterday was loaded with people.
  3. Yeah it’s into a chunk of May anyways. Weeklies even at week 4 looked questionable. But of course that doesn’t mean a few nape days can’t be squeezed in. Just speaking of the overall look. Eventually these deep cold shots will relax over the next few weeks as climo takes over. All you need is a sunny day and it’s easy to get to normal highs with BN 850 temps. Of course the airmass coming this week is just stupid.
  4. We have Norway maples on their way to leaf out. Already small green leaves emerging. They accelerated so much up to first week of April. Things have slowed, but yesterday they popped again. It’s about right for these awful weeds of the forest.
  5. Probably not, just crappy. Who knows though. Wouldn't shock me if we had one...lol.
  6. I’m glad we got snow out of this look. For awhile I was hoping. We actually squandered a couple more close calls including tomorrow, but the pattern delivered.
  7. Meanwhile I certain someone in SW CT sends messages about where’s the cold?
  8. Had a heavy frost here this morning. Still a few weenie patches, but time for a nice day. Bring on a torch, but unfortunately guidance is bringing on a lousy look.
  9. I saw pics. That’s what was measured unfortunately at 7a. Boston in general just doesn’t do well in marginal events.
  10. Still got areas of snow left with mangled flakes mixing in.
  11. They didn’t get much, but I saw pics around the city of almost 2” on some of the hills near downtown. One from a East Boston.
  12. Dave with 4” lol. Although that’s about right.
  13. Nothing like hitting the roads after eggs and legs at the blue.
  14. 4/18 and the cape getting something they have trouble getting in December. Memorable.
  15. Truro has almost 3”. Ryan sent me a pic. Incredible.
  16. 2.6” although it seemed variable. Deck chairs had almost 3”.
  17. 2.6” 22.6” for season. At least we end a rat with a record breaker.
