  1. They were fine. Backed off a tad on the porn...but very nice until week 4ish. Week 4 was ok with a -NAO, but Pacific started to get more Nina.
  2. LOL Will called it. 2013 and 2015 vibe in Jan.
  3. Gonna be awhile folks. Probably until at least next weekend and beyond. Is what it is.
  4. Phin's bread and butter climo he waited for, more like stale Indian Naan bread rubbed with Canola oil.
  5. It depends but yeah, Latitude helps. Hopefully you’re -20 and have ice crystals while it’s 25F and snowing here.
  6. What happens when a massive -AO from the SSW meets an engorged Hadley Cell?
  7. Some guidance has a real sharp s/w and redevelopment on the coast with that thing. Regardless, that's what really changes things. Hasn't changed.
  8. It's a good thing it wasn't finished then. There may have been some toys thrown around though.
  9. I honestly was having fun earlier, and it appears I got Winter Wolf to howl and Ice to start boozing. FTW.
  10. What is? Didn't we all say probably second half of month? Next week wasn't a guarantee, nor was it the start of anything good.
  11. No, lol...but it's not guaranteed to deliver some of these weenie years thrown around. I do admit getting a little impatient wasting that late Dec into Jan timeframe. I don't think I'm alone in that regard.
  12. Oh well. Maybe we'll have a few weeks of winter.
  13. Well at least the weather will be dry. I don't mind the sunny days for sure.
  14. GFS says no go next week. Frankly, that's how my gut feels when we have all these s/w's.
  15. Yep, agree. That's usually how it goes.
  16. That's why we don't avg a ton of snow. These are typical winters. We'll see how it goes second half of month.
  17. I can't shovel all the GGEM snow since I'm still rebuilding from all its hurricane damage.
  18. It's still fugly and right now, I'm more non-event vs something....but I'm not writing it off this far out. Maybe 30-40% chance of something advisory or greater.
