    Woke up to a heavy burst. Under an inch but looks pretty. Maybe 0.7” or so.

    Rockland 1” already. May get over 2”

    A lot of models did have that area into western and central MA. Gfs and to some extent hrrr and RGEM. That was one of the areas mentioned to watch. But I mean C-1” vs 1-2”.....not like a huge bust but better than nothing. I think dry air screwed NE MA into SNH. Another area to watch now is RI and Bristol and Plymouth counties. Might be another mini Jack.

    Radar seems to be fizzling a bit. Maybe HRRR was right. Although maybe that stuff in ern CT moves NE.

    It’s ending quickly to your west though. You might get 1.5?

    Always neat to see mesoscale features. That dark line running east of Beverly to near Logan and SSW into Bristol county is the CF. Might get a small CJ west of that with NE winds aloft. Foxboro enjoying that.

    Should be some steady light stuff into RI and ern MA shortly. Radar blossoming there now. Looks like cstl front near or just east of Logan to about Easton MA and up into Essex county by the water. Slowly moving east.

    Mixing flakes and dots here at 37. Could CJ a bit if the CF comes through early enough. Not expecting much overall. My son called me negative and thinks over 1”. Not sure at some point back in 2012 Kevin went to my condo when I wasn’t home?

    It definitely can be loud. One way to know it's sleet...sleet is typically more clear. Graupel will appear milky white.
