  1. HRRR liking Rt 3 east this evening in Plymouth County.
  2. I was and still am lol. I just remember all the comments about "we don't have winters like we used to.....blizzard of 78 this and that...etc." God am I glad we broke that in 92-93. But the new age weenies need to understand it's quite likely we overall will regress a bit, especially in cstl areas where the average snowfall has dramatically increased.
  3. People just don't get it...mostly the younger crowd. Winter's have warmed a bit as a whole, but we just didn't have the biggies back then. I remember so many times where it was bare ground and cold. Sure now and then we had some good ones, but that stretch after 83..woof. I suppose 86-87 and 87-88 weren't too bad.
  4. It's happening and will continue. Not all years, but I feel pretty confident for places like Boston, and down to you and I...the 30 yr norms will go down a bit. We have increased annual snowfall by a significant amount. And 16-17, 17-18 were pretty good. Other than 19-20...we haven't had much of a ratter either. You people are so spoiled. 12" storms do not grow on trees. We went years without one in the 80s. I'll say it again, when you saw the "white" shading of 3-6" from Bruce, Dick, or Harvey...you were elated.
  5. Yeah he mixed a bit. But from like Bridgewater on north had a foot+.
  6. Might be some bad luck. I had 12.5" in December last year, and I know just NW of you had over a foot in Feb this year too.
  7. Maybe Wolfie and Runaway can have a nice fight in the snow if some of the models are right.
  8. I think that areas slides more NE and the stuff you want may develop and blossom later today.
  9. 37 here with a NNE win picking up. Will have to wait a bit until later on when winds go more N.
  10. I don't know why since Novie wasn't a torch, but i am seeing some shrubs blooming again. LOL.
  11. I honestly don’t know lol. Guidance is all over. I’m not expecting much.
  12. Some good news I think. Some signs of an eastward progression of the MJO and easterly 850 wind anomalies. So at some point we should see things change a bit which the guidance is showing later this month.
  13. If you think about all those winters where AK and the west fried while we had fun....time to pay up.
  14. That’s sort of weird to me to use a data set of 29 years which is prone to short term fluctuations vs a sample size that is double the time. Not sure I like what they did there. Figure 7.1.
  15. At this point, I’ll be going on my roof with 500lbs of gold medal flower and chucking it onto my bushes lol.
  16. Well if someone is porked they aren’t missing much to be honest.
