  1. While wind profiles look good overnight on the mesoscale models, they've been so far off till now that it's hard to know for sure.
  2. The tornado warned storm in Western Alabama has the strongest rotation of any storm so far today, though it doesn't look like it'll go through much for now.
  3. Pretty strong rotation for that TW'd storm entering Needham AL.
  4. Weak TDS on the tornado warned storm in LA. Edit; much more defined now, likely a TOG there.
  5. The cell SE of Columbus GA looked mildly interesting for a few scans, though it's in a bit of a crappy radar spot at the moment.
  6. Just got a tornado warning, went from broad to tight rotation in like 2 scans.
  7. Hi res NAM has insane winds at 850 mb, if we can mix some of these down with heavier precipitation it will be a high end wind event.
  8. Very active day across the southeast, I'm surprised it's so quiet here.
  9. Debris signature got massive the last few frames
  10. This storm in western GA isn't messing around Edit; it's actually in eastern AL
  11. Tornado emergency now for that cell as it's corssing some smaller towns in Alabama.
  12. Very close call for Chico TX in the next few minutes, there's a pretty significant TDS with that storm. Edit; Rotation looks very mean now
  13. PDS warning for the storm approaching Popular Bluff.
  14. While it sucks, it does at least show that with some luck and good timing you can snow in the worst of patterns.
  15. The Euro has your answer (but you're not going to like it)
  16. Winds picking up big time in Staten Island now after a brief lull.
  17. While strong, the low is really broad and elongated at the moment with a relatively large area of similar pressure readings. Lowest are Allentown and Mount Pocono at 28.85.
  18. Pickens is a relatively small town in size, the tornado either passed VERY close to them or directly over them.
  19. It passed through a very rural area before lifting.
  20. Confirmed tornado now with the cell west of Raleigh MS.
  21. The airmass honestly isn't that bad. If you can get this under light precipitation, you can certainly cool the column in a more dynamic storm. Especially if you can an idea phase from the northern stream, it's always tough for things to align perfectly for us but it won't take all that much here to get a solid snowstorm out of this.
