    I was thinking a White Christmas was on really thin ice down here even with an inch or two ...it gets pretty mild Wednesday afternoon and there's no icy mix to solidify things. Still some mood flakes a couple days before Christmas and having it not be bitterly cold isn't the worst thing.

    I only have looked through a handful of the big dogs but the accumulation maps are spot on for every single one so far. There are so many maps of these storms that are way overdone and just wrong in general. Even the KU book has some glaring snowfall map errors. I know this will bring me much joy and reminiscing in the days ahead.

    I went into their thread right after the back to back Monster snowstorms in 09-10 asking if some folks really had up to four feet on the level and I was told to go back to my forum and stay out of theirs. I had heard some places just outside of Baltimore had accomplished that incredible feat.

    I remember delivering newspapers in seventh grade in minus two temps with a freshening northerly breeze so wc had to be minus 25 or more on a Saturday morning in January and pretty sure the ground was bare

    Well those who are lucky enough to get some accumulating snow will get to look at it for awhile....be nice if we could get a nice region wide Miller A or B with this cold coming up but that looks doubtful. I told my neighbor yesterday not to be surprised if there's only two slushy inches and now that seems like a fantasy lol Cloudy chilly start though 28. Certainly looks like a snow sky for the time being.
