  1. At least the weather channel will have coverage wherever the heavy snow sets up
  2. Well at least there is a storm tomorrow down south to watch
  3. The weather channel says I get an inch of snow today and they say 40 now on Sunday..... Sell both?
  4. An inch of crud for 7 hours of flurries light snow and some sleet Still light wintry mix and breezy
  5. Flurries for two hours or more, only a coating despite a good looking radar..getting breezy Reminds me of Boxing Day 2010, at least we were only forecast an inch or two this time
  6. Just wait til some "slightly right escaping " Miller B puts down 20 to 30 on the Cape and Islands while Se CT sees just a few windblown inches and NW of ORH and HFD/BDL smokes heavy heavy cirrus
  7. I thought that tracked over se ct and RI....isn't this going to central NY?
  8. I am hoping for rain at this point and 40s with not too much wind, get rid of the icy mess out there leftover from last Friday
  9. That wasn't what I meant, I meant to write it looked conservative up there snowfall wise all things considered
  10. we have to endure a bitterly cold Saturday beforehand, and then we get taken to the woodshed. I wanted a Miller A, like Ginxy said be careful what you wish for .
  11. If we get a few Miller As, everyone should be thrilled except the south coast (should they hug). They tend to be better for building a pack anyways. I think Miller As have less of a gap between winners and loosers
  12. I want 3/01 too but about 5 degrees colder and 50-75 miles farther SW for the bombogenesis
  13. 4.3 final.... definitely not powder or arctic sand, just reg snow and we only lost about half an inch since yesterday so it def had a little water in it It is amazing how well the places who crushed yesterday crushed so many other times in recent years. Kinda agree with 40/70 on this
  14. I was about ten inches below normal last year too, despite two big events
  15. 3 to 4....congrats to those guys who got banded Meh here
  16. Reading the banter between the two of you had been amusing. I spent half my life in RI and never gave it that much thought
  17. There have been so many big storms the past 25 to 30 years. Personally, many have irritated the fook out of me but as I have gotten older I have learned that I just unluckily live in a tough area for big backyard events. Even last winter we had two double digit events here in the bowels of death valley. We all are so spoiled. BDL only averages one double digit event every 4 seasons. If we get crushed...great or if Albany gets crushed or maybe the big stuff buries Nantucket so be it. At least it's not the 80s!!
