  1. My only hope is that it comes in after 4pm. It's a win-win that way. By then I should be close to parking the truck for the day AND it's a Friday and I have weekends off. That's win #1. Also, most snow would fall after sunset which would hopefully make for maximum "stickage" which would be good for the snowlovers. That would be win #2.
  2. Here is one. The dashed line is the PA/Delaware state line. The north half of the house is on PA, and the south half is in Delaware. Crazy...
  3. Oh, I wasn't trying to pinpoint your location, so you didn't have to post a map. I was just wondering. Thing is how is one taxed by living literally in two different states?
  4. I'm a map junkie and I peruse the Google satellite maps a lot. I'm surprised at how many properties do literally straddle state lines. In some, the state line cuts right through the house so that (for example) literally one would cross from PA into Maryland just by simply walking from their living room into the kitchen. Is your deal that literal?
  5. Is it dry there? Here it's relatively mild at 48 degrees, but it's still dark, gray, and misty/foggy. Certainly not nice enough to sit outside and eat.
  6. Well I get that, but I was only responding to a post agreeing to what was said, as I'm currently experiencing it. I wasn't trying to push a pro or anti vaxx position or posting misinformation.
  7. Ah, you figured me out. I'm actually a mad scientist when I'm not hauling water. I've finally figured out a way to use the mountains to my advantage and keep the snow out of here... Seriously though, see my post above. I've been feeling under the weather (pun intended) this past week, and the weather we currently have is quite depressing. I'll take snow, rain, or bright sunshine over this crap...
  8. If I lived in a climate where it snowed that much, and I had that much buildup on my roof every year, I'd seriously look into having a heated roof and keep it melted off.
  9. I know, right? Is it considered a bust if the fog forms five minutes earlier or later than the specified time???
  10. One of them is going to verify. Winter can't be a total shut out...can it?
  11. I didn't get out of the mid 40's on both those days.
  12. It's interesting. There's ice on my fence rails, the powerlines, the parked cars, and even one small icicle on each wind cup on my weather station, yet my temp is reading 32.7 right now. How is there active freezing rain at a nearly 33 degree temperature?
  13. Looks like I made it home just in time. Raining here and 32.4 degrees. Power lines and my mother in law's car already have a glaze on them.
  14. Hey, I went through Danville about 3pm... Anyway, as best as I could figure, no one north of 78 or east of the Susquehanna got anything. Even snowy Hazleton had bare grass.
  15. I don't even have to open the thread to know when the models show nothing good. If there's no hot topic badge, it means they're crap.
  16. Roads just wet from Tower City to Sunbury. Even the grassy areas aren't white. Some shady gravel driveways had a coating, but otherwise no "stickage" at all in travels.
  17. Some flurries starting right now in Tower City. Let's see how this Sunbury ride goes.
  18. 32 at my house, 34 in Tower City, and 31 here in Sunbury.
  19. 49.6 was my high for today, which, strangely, occurred at 12:58am.
