    Solid summer thunderstorm in Queens

    I woke up from some thunder from this and took a peek at the radar. The amount of rotation in the northern part of that cell was very noticeable on radar. I'm surprised no warnings went up for it.

    This has to be up there in terms of lines that head towards NYC and look threatening on radar, but ultimately aren't much more than garden variety.

    For what it's worth, SREF mean has trended upwards for LGA over the last 4 runs: 6.68", 7.95", 8.00", and now 9.56"
