  1. First 00z run of the night didn't start off too well. Long range HRRR looks just like the NAM.
  2. Only 4-4.5 days from go time on various guidance Tip. So definitely not too early. Let’s see how it trends, looks a lot better for your area than mine but I’m interested.
  3. Just dug into it a bit. Obviously this will change but today’s trends are for a 12-18 hour torch. Latest GFS is about 1pm Christmas Eve to 4am Christmas Day with temps above 50. Maxing out at 63 on Christmas at midnight. So not as bad as it seems duration wise, but it does seem pretty warm for a bit.
  4. RGEM looks fun, make that another model not agreeing with the GFS. I expect a massive GFS cave right now with new data.
  5. EPS hasn’t budged. If GFS holds and Euro goes south , all hail GFS.
  6. Yes exactly because NAM and EUro looked just like that too
  7. Since Nemo, largest here is 15” rough stretch for the big ones esp. since March 2018.
  8. GEFS with a decent bump north with precip again, 2 runs in a row 12z, 18z.
  9. It did for the south coast, we were forecast to get nothing 36 hours before ended up with 15.
  10. I don’t think “climo” really matters too much in a block that strong.
  11. Snow maps only have a chance of verifying in snowy climates like New England. Any map that shows snow over Richmond is going to be overdone 99.9% of the time. But I do hope we all get a Richmond to Portland snowstorm this year.
  12. What's your elevation? I'm at 600' on the Seymour/Oxford line, feeling hopeful for 2-4". We always do very well with elevation dependent storms.
  13. Interesting that you think average snowfall for Hartford with a torch through peak snow climo.
  14. Lucky around here 3.02 this week. Lawn stayed green through the September dry stretch, also had 1” in early September fall, then I watered manually every other day with WiFi timers and 4 sprinklers, also overseeded 3 weeks ago. Here’s what she looks like. Edit : can’t upload my image from my iPhone?
  15. Good spot, they always do well. And it’s a big town area wise plus nice and wide open. Close to my neck of the woods. I’m on the Seymour/Oxford line.
  16. 83/70 here and full sun! Steamy summer afternoon. Anticipating a Tor watch for Southern CT soon.
