  1. Would love that follow up wave on the 3k. That would make Sunday quite the washout.
  2. Still a lot of them here, but mostly sub 40ft trees under the pine/oak/hemlock canopy. I've been noticing the first BLD in them this year. There's still a lot of sickly, spindly, tall elms down by the "stream" too.
  3. The stream in our back woods is bone dry…not even a puddle or wet spot. I’ve never seen it like that. The ferns out there are brown. Most trees that are 10-20ft or smaller are wilting. The lawn crunches when walking on it. Hopefully we get a little tonight to moisten up the surface so it can all soak in Sat.
  4. I think we'll do more than a quarter inch through the weekend. Probably widespread 0.50-1.00" with the chance for 1"+ in spots. NNE is probably favored, but any rain helps. Gotta start somewhere.
  5. Forget anomalies. NNE has flat out just been winning overall the 2nd half of summer.
  6. Min 51.5°….CON 50° Getting to the point where that isn’t much BN anymore.
  7. NWS has flakes in the forecast for the arrowhead of MN…pretty wild for 9/4.
  8. Funny because I thought the modeling looked warmer in the extended overnight…more signs of persistent ridging and fewer cold intrusions.
  9. 82/50 at CON today. Avg 66…normal 66. Right on the money.
  10. Loving these cirrus with fallstreaks to the north right now.
  11. Not sure if you’re familiar with this place, but they have ripe pawpaws starting and some days with PYO tours.
  12. Yeah I’ll take anything at this point…even a wedged all day -RADZ fest.
  13. Concord got an inch last week. I was down there Saturday and you could tell…the lawns greened back up and there were puddles. But in town here looks like Arizona. I’m afraid to water my potted trees with how slow the well is to refill. Hopefully Fri/Sat delivers something substantial.
  14. We were racking it up in the first half with all of those wet weekends. 1 rain event in 5 weeks is rough though.
  15. I think their gauge is screwed. They had more than 0.08” in August. They had some missing precip days.
