The ash tree took out my lines, but this big boy, 5 houses down the hill, finished the power off for the neighborhood an hour later.

My Davis C batteries apparently finally died after being installed in 2006 so when the power went out I lost wind data for awhile. But that’s pretty good. Was it coming right off the channel from the WSW? I remember you’ve roared from that direction in the past.

Just gusted to 41mph on the Davis. Only recorded 24mph when the tree fell.

Phil came. Just had a large tree in front of our house fall across the road and take out all of our lines. Internet was taken out but somehow we still have power even though the live wires are laying across the road with the tree.

Lol…I’ll bite. I had been until everyone started posting obs in the March thread. But I think this was referring to the post I made to my friend Mark the other day that you weenied in which I wasn’t trying to tell him where to post, but rather where the rest of us were posting our obs so he wouldn’t have to feel like he was posting obs alone.

They don’t. But the point is everyone east of the Rockies is ahead of schedule with soil conditions and/or green up. So there won’t be much modification to our warm airmasses and any DSD day will be ripe for post-mud season type diurnal swings.
