  1. Sometimes I forget how special GC is.
  2. You’re just used to being up all night
  3. SPECI KPSM 161728Z 06012G21KT 030V100 3/4SM R34/P6000FT -SNPL BR BKN006 OVC011 01/M00 A2952 RMK AO2A PLB28 PRESFR SLP000
  4. One ice weenie too warm. One ice weenie too cold.
  5. Yeah some areas of good lift coming in. Could be some chunks of mangled snow mixed in with the sleet.
  6. That’s probably a sign ZR is mixing in.
  7. Those in the low 20s are likely still mostly/all sleet. Those climbing into the upper 20s have a little latent heat added at the surface. So a lot of times you can guesstimate the PL/ZR line where you see that low 20s/upper 20s gradient.
  8. You should want the snow to stay on for more damage.
  9. Maybe a little salt nuclei helping out too?
  10. Keep in mind you’re supposed to average both sides for radial ice. So you’d want to half that…1/8”.
  11. It’s been all sleet since about my last post. And yeah, you may flip back to snow before it finishes.
  12. It’s mixing here and there. There’s some pings hitting the pellet stove pipe, but it’s mostly snow. I’m leaving the sleet on top so it’ll snowblow easier.
  13. Sure. I still think you overperform on sleet and then you get a little ZR later. Still snowing here.
  14. Radar is kinda meh in SNE. Won’t be much accretion for ineedsnow.
  15. 20.0° and -SN here although we had some sleet a bit ago.
  16. Some of that wind down there is for this evening. Unless you plan on fully warm sectoring you’re not mixing down what they are.
  17. If I’m snowblowing down there I’d be tempted to wait until it’s over otherwise the driveway will be a skating rink. Definitely wait until it’s gone from sleet to zr. That sleet will sit there forever.
