  1. Yeah…I had -17 here which tied my coldest. I think that may be the last -20s for CON (-24). 18z gfs comes in colder than 12z. Looks like the coldest of the season is coming…severity tbd.
  2. Probably, but the airmass on the euro op is colder.
  3. Euro with Monday rain showers after near all-time record cold 2 days prior.
  4. lol -42C 850s into NNE Sat AM. Have never seen anything like that before.
  5. lol…-20F 2m at MHT. I’ll still take the over.
  6. Yeah we had -10s twice here and another shot with a high of +5 and -8 min. Amazingly I’m going to finish this Jan with no min below +10.
  7. You couldn’t draw it up any better. If we can do this every January I’ll let them lock Greta up.
  8. lol it’s 1/28. There will be an event at some point just to F up your futility records.
  9. After 30.6" so far this month I'm beginning to tire out. Hopefully we can get back to a less snowy pattern soon.
  10. He could've at least posted some species native to New England. lol
  11. If we have the same cultivars it doesn't matter. But it's possible the forsythia are hardier here. The rhodies are a bit protected on the east side too.
  12. My rhodies and forsythia bloom every year. The peaches took a hit though.
  13. Can't recall seeing 18z 2m temps modeled that low here before. Hope it moderates a lot.
  14. All about the mid level temps. CAA beginning aloft.
  15. Heavy glazing overnight. 32.3° now. Driveway is done, but 4” of muck was a mess.
  16. 29.0° FZRA 3.7” sn/ip final. 0.58” liquid. kinda surprised the sleet was so brief. Hopefully we latently heat up to 32° soon.
  17. 25.5° +SN Pingers are up to Mark and in this area…maybe another hour or so of snow. Hopefully we can wash it out a bit.
  18. A few weeks of in June and it’ll crisp right up like bacon.
