My Compact Total in PDII was 20”. 22” Total. Frustrating we didn’t hit 24. But the Piles were that of a Classic. And it a DC to Boston Bomb. NOT TO MENTION my Favorite Storm Ever, 2/7/03 of 14” was Mostly still there before the 22” of PDII came on top, AND all on Top of the 2” of concrete from the failed 12/25/02 storm that at least gave a historic base to a historically cold winter. 2002-2003 may have only had 84”, but it was a Great a winter as you could ever pray for. Better than the 120” 2004-2005 season that kept melting. My Compact Total in this was 13”. 18” Total. The photos I’m getting from Cumberland are Pretty good. But Certainly Not that Historic look of the Blizzard of 1996, AFD 1997, PDII, Blizzard of 2005, end of January 2011, Blizzard of 2013, or of Blizzard 2015. Sorry…. No Comparison.

Ray Posted 11 times in Page 13. That’s a Record! And we’d Better get something after I get home Tuesday. It’s Bad Enough I’m missing the Historic Cold and it gets to 30 As SOON as I get back. What the Bleep. I’ve got to look at wet streets and melty non-powder snow.

December 13, 2007. The storm I skipped a Final Exam for because as I told the professor “I have to go back to RI to measure snow for the NWS.” and went Backwards from Rugges to get on the Commuter Rain train to North Station because the train was going to just steam by Back Bay and Ruggles since it was already full. I’ll never know what happened to those 100’s and 100’s of people who couldn’t get any train. 13.5” I think. Killer storm. Oh and yet ANOTHER storm with the SAME compact total as Sundays storm that you guys keep calling an “all-timer”. -

FORGET the Snow - How About the Temperatures!! I left Tuesday the 20th, which was the 1ST day out got cold - You Guys have been dealing with Historic Cold since Every day and now are in one of the Greatest Deep Winter stretches in the areas history. I’m proud that I got you to spend time to make a list of statistics / points / records to make a point vs. just calling names. Your Welcome. And I didn’t know this board had people who are So soft that Text Communication makes you an A-Hole hahahaha. Only about 4 people on here know my Actual personality. Harvey Leonard & Paul Kocin weren’t texting You during the storm CC so stop projecting what I am. Understand the position I’m in; let me rant. It doesn’t cost any money.

17.5” is Not some Historic situation. JUST like the Blizzard of 2006 where I got 18”. I don’t remember a THING about it. Even the King of duration storm December 5-7, 2003 had 22” over 44 Hours of constant snow and a compact total of 20”-21”. Awesome Storm. The Poles looked like we got c 3 feet. This had 14” Compact. Totally forgettable. I give extensive data and statements to exactly why I’m not impressed and you Still want to jump on the “Cory is a child” Bulls**t. Wheather the % that I’ve missed major storms vs. how much I’m actually away OR my stats that This storm can’t come Close to even March 2019 which was totally forgettable for all of you. I don’t know WHAT data I need to come up with to prove my points.

I Don’t understand the Level of Excitement in here all week to through the storm. Yes it’s Great. But have you All Forgotten HOW many storms we’ve had in here where Everyone was Ripping 24”-36”+ with 3-4” per hour During the storm? This is a full notch below it. Everyone is close to 20. It’s Fantastic. But It’s not Boobs out in the Bahamas “Oh My God I’m losing my mind of happiness!” like Belichick on Senior Day. And You all think I’m losing my mind. Just take for instance JUST March 2019. I got just about the exact Same amount in that storm as this. EXCEPT, the Compact total was 16”, not 14” like this one, And it came as a Bomb in 1 piece. AND most of you got 10-14, and I Jackpotted with 17.25. Vs. Everyone from freaking Providence to Hartford to Blue Hill to Boston to Ipswitch in here getting 20….. And I get flipping under 18. March 2019 was a Run of the Mill Medium Level Fairly Forgettable storm of mostly 10-14, and yet it was Better in Every way for my area except for duration. Let alone talk March 2018 or many other Not totally historic events that were still better, Never Mind start talking 1996, 1997, 2005, 2013, 2015 or dare I mention the “RI Screw Job from Hell Fujiwawa 2013” that was 2 feet for everyone But RI. You guys were so starved for a big storm you’ve acted the whole 7 days like this was the Blizzard of 2005 or 2013.

I CAN CONFIRM SLEET in Northern RI!!!! Just got videos in!! Horrible Crappy Flakes Mixed with Sleet!! OMG I’M SO HAPPY!! I KNEW it I Knew It I Knew it! SWFE’s ALWAYS do this to Northern RI! You guys Always say “You’re safe, it won’t get there.” and Sure Enough before I’m even at 8”/10”, it goes to crap. Every Time.

I have 2 people whom are “Cory Approved” measuring in my home town. 1.5” at Noon, started at 9am. My guy in Pennsylvania who’s possibly a Bigger Weenie than me if you can believe it said this: ”It’s sleeting heavily now and it’s incredibly at 14°. Only 7” so far of snow/sleet. There is a warm nose somewhere that’s killing us. 12-18 was forecast. You guys better watch out, never seen a snowstorm at 14° produce such crap.”

The Snow Depth of Both the GFS AND the NAM give me 11”. What are you smoking? Even if it isn’t taint, it will be crappy non-accumulating snow. You guys can keep Bit**ing about my Bit**ing but How many of you got Text Messages from Harvey Leonard to text me about the storm? (Only for me to have to tell him the F-ing Atrocious News.) You people are taking about a widespread 12-18 with lollies to 24 like it’s a 1997 / 2005 / 2013 / 2015 System where Everyone was 20-30 with lollies to 36-40 which were ACTUALLY Historic. And even PDII, Sure it was only good from Me to Boston around here, but from NYC down there were 20” amounts all over. And you want to call ME the Baby? It’s a Great System. Yes, it’s absolutely Historic when talking Country Wide, a KU Monster (though no where NEAR 1993 or 1996 which had 20”+ all over and the widest swath of 30” totals ever seen, & 1993 giving 12” to 21 freaking states). But it is Not a Bomb with half the people on the board getting 24” which we’ll talk about 15 years from now like those other 4. -

You people Really don’t understand basic % do you. Can forecast a Snowstorm like a Champion, but can’t understand Being Home 85% of the time YET still missing almost 2/3’s of the major weather events. This isn’t hard. On Top of the fact that there’s Nothing More in life I desire than what you guys are About to see. You guys have 9-5’s where you stay in your region. I Travel to perform for a living. I Don’t have a choice. But if I had JUST BASIC OK Luck, Not Good, Not Bad, just average, I would have no issue. -

I was home November 7th to January 20th. WILL be Home February 3rd to March 3rd. HOW much do I have to be home to be lucky? I was Only gone 2 weeks in the entire winter of 2011, and MISSED the Blizzard of 2011. Same situation in 2022. Was Gone 10 Days of February and March and April of 2018, and still Missed the Bomb inside those 10 days. And it’s not just the Grammys, it’s about 5 concerts, the Mega 4 day NAMM Convention, and many other private events, packed into a 2 week period. I’m Home 85% of Winter every year, and miss 60% of the Major Events. -

You do NOT understand the Basic Math Equation of HOW MUCH I actually AM home every year for winter (My travel is mostly May through November ), and yet HOW MANY of the big events I’ve STILL missed. I’m not typing them all out again. I have 12 Hobbies and a Worldwide Music Career. The Thing I Love more than ANYTHING ON THIS EARTH is a Big Snowstorm. Maybe you still don’t get it. I Understand Bad Luck. But this recently has gotten Absolutely Mother F******* ReDonkulous. I could Actually chuck an accordion or of the Hilton right now.
