North Cumberland, RI - KCNM 4.5" - Compact Total 5.5" - TOTAL Absolutely. Insane. (Some areas of the yard have ZERO Snow. Very odd, but common here for October / November / April)

I’m worried now that this has gone BEYOND the point of Fun & Excitement, where over 3” you start having damage that headed towards 2011, which is still my Most Hated Weather event in my life. There was SO much tree damage. The fact that this is one of the Biggest Shockers & Overachievers off my life AND that I’m in the running for the jackpot... is being ruined by my worry on that topic.

Just did my first NWS snow report for the season and I am headed out to a small New England town to grab an iced coffee and have a weenie drive Already seen a crashed car (freshy) on a truck, roads are a total mix of wet and slushy, and somewhat downright Bad.

0.5” in North Cumberland! But only on SOME cars and SOME parts of the yard. Very strange. Front yard has Zero snow, backyard is like Christmas.

Instead of 3 of you guys joking or giving 1 word responses, can you give a detailed Reasoning begins it? Especially the radar? As it’s obviously true that there was snow there. But the R/S Line was 100 miles North oh it.....

Can someone PLEASE explain this Snow situation? My friend from the Hamptons just called up and said “It’s like 45 and it’s SHOWING!?” I look at the Radar, and the Rain / Snow Line is clearly NW Worcester..... EXCERPT, this Circular Section over the Hamptons that is a Blue Ball of Snow. WHAT IN THE HELL? But also, the “Snow” that’s stuck looked Much more like Hail, But Hail Only Congress in Thunderstorms? But it’s sleety? It snowed in True Flake Form after she took that picture as well I’m both confused by what the “Snow” actually is, and What is this Bay of cold air and hope How it happen? But again, sue said it was clearly warm when in the 40’s.

According to the NWS Chat boards, they thought it was overdone. Eric Fisher presumed he measured the snow from the previous storm? (Don't know where he got that info.) I asked on the board whether they would accept it, and they said since he wasn't Skywarn, they would omit it. Then it was posted again this morning before they again struck it from the list. Honestly, I can see how he could get 31. It's a tried and true method! And the RIGHT way to measure snowfall."

Has everyone seed Ray's amount posted in the 9am NWS report? They put it in! 31.0", #1! You Jackpotted a major one! But Ray - Get your Spotter Training / Number and then they'll believe you more!
