After an All-Time Historic Snow Hole Wall Beginning… 1.25" in less than an hour, started at 10:45. Absolutely Perfect looking heavy snow.

I thought this storm had ZERO chance of precipitation-type issues, and Now the NWS has the Dreaded Mega Graduate from 1” - 8”-12” go only 25 Miles Right across my Azz. This is going to be another disaster where I better go to NH vs. stay here.

1 Hour ago I looked at the NWS BOX forecast and see that there is Not a Drop of snow in the forecast for 10 days. Just go Full Pissed Off Mode. Then I come in here to see how the Current storm we're MISSING to the MidAtlantic is.... and Realize Sperate from the currant storm.... We're In Full Blizzard Watch Potential Mode Alla January 2005! We've Got a Big One to Watch Finally!?

February 13, 2007 will be remembered for a Number of reasons, especially skipping a Final Exam because “I’m a NWS Spotter and I have to go to RI to measure the snow !” and then taking the train from Boston in, with the most surreal of circumstances (especially the part where the commuter rail train passed Ruggles where I Normally went, and it not letting anyone on being already full from Back Bay and South Station, stranding hundreds that never got home), but there is no doubt, NO Doubt….. That this today was the Biggest Disaster of roads / crashes / conditions for a 1” Storm in My Lifetime. There wasn’t even close to 1” Down and crashes were Everywhere so you could say it was the Biggest Disaster 0.5” storm too (ALL Toyota Carola’s I might Add!! Fitting into my stereotypes presently.) !! 2.25” Final 4.25” Season Off to an Awful start as usual, but looks beautiful, outside of the guy who backed into me with no traction today.

Where the heck do you live Ray? You live but 50 minutes from me, and I’ve seen 31” of Snow Total, in 2 FULL SEASONS. I haven’t seen Even a 10” snowstorm since January 2022!! Almost 3 Years! If I don’t see an ACTUAL full on 20” Storm this year I’m going to Absolutely go F-ing Ape S***. And of course like every year, I’ll be in LA January 19-February 4th for NAMM & Grammys. So you might as well book a storm somewhere inside of that time frame.

I just left for LA for 2 weeks, but have a Major Concert in the 4th. So couldn’t be back until the 5th. Storm % just went Way Up. The Snowman is away. Just like Blizzard of 2022, Blizzard of 2011, February 2017 and March 2018.

Can someone explain how it can Rain in Boston but Snow Well to its SOUTHEAST? Is it just the Boundary Layer matching the coast line? This is absolutely nuts.
