Glad to see I'm not alone in being a bit surprised on rain amounts. I've had an inch this morning proper in the last 3 hours or so to put me at 1.60" since midnight.
I am experiencing quite a bit of blossom drop in my pepper patch due to this heat. It's what they do in extreme heat. Gonna put a dent in my yield. Plants are otherwise very healthy this year.
Microburst yesterday and pretty heavy downpour today. 1.51" today and 2.47" over the last two.
My pepper plants are not quite tall enough for effective staking, and I got lucky yesterday with those winds.
It has been muggy!
My standing joke is: if you want a sweater for Christmas, I'm your guy!
5.35 inches of rain this month in Pleasant Gardens. 26.57 for the year.
3.35" for the month and 11.76" for the year so far.
Looks like temps will spike tomorrow. 90 predicted for the high here. Near 70 today and Tuesday. That seems a bit odd to me.
Hope everybody is keeping well.
