  1. I just don't see a way to win. There wasn't 1 hit in the 18z EPS. I'm tossing in the towel. A 1-2 inch storm does nothing for me when 2-3 ft just to our south and east.
  2. I just got back from driving to Grove City. Perilous driving on the way there were several white out squalls. Couple times cars were flying by. Couldnt see the road. Crazy drivers.
  3. If we miss out on the weekend we have clipper after clipper through the whole run.
  4. Latest 18z Icon EPS, there are 5 pretty east members. 2 are in eastern PA for weekend
  5. I looked for some discussion of it. But nothing. You can see snow breaking out over central Ohio, so snow may develop along that front. Also now breaking out in front of the front. I am actually driving up to Grove City later tonight.
  6. @Burghblizz Not sure if this squall line holds together or how far south it will extend, but looks like at least Butler Co should see it come through if you take it due east. It is getting very dark here. Looks like snow.
  7. I'm trying to reel it in...And the latest run just lost it... JMA a no also.. I'm scrambling. Latest DGEX anybody...This is about the time there were big changes for Sundays storm.. If it doesn't happen by 0z, as Bob Prince used to say, "You can kiss it goodbye"
  8. I'm riding the CFS. It had 3in as depth before this. Gives us 16 inches this weekend...
  9. I think its moving too quickly for that. Maybe 1/4 inch.
  10. Hope this doesn't move through quickly. Mod/heavy now
  11. It still runs on certain sites. https://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?CONT=usus&MODELL=nogaps&VAR=uv10&HH=168
  12. GFS just came NW big time. Still long shot but not as big. EUROAI has been highest scoring model so need it to comes west with the EURO.
  13. All models tonight show trough becoming more west oriented for the weekend storm. Still not affecting us but this has been our winter and it just wants to snow here so I wouldn't be surprised if things trend our way to at least a 6+ storm
  14. Collection of several 18z EPS members pretty far west for the weekend.
  15. The organic forecasting method has been pretty good at sniffing out timeframes for storms this year. The next best chance would appear to be Feb 5th -7th or 11th-12th.
  16. I noticed it starting to darken up, and looks like more snow showers moving into the area.
  17. 12z GEFS just took a big jump west. Still favors mostly east coast but big jump none the less
  18. Pgh met I asked about the 6z EPS. "I have very low confidence in what the exact outcome for this will end up being. Way too many moving parts. I think the reason why you do see such a northwest lean on the 6z EPS spread has to do with this circled shortwave. More interaction would try to tug the 500 low farther west when climbing the coast."
  19. Just looking at IMBY snow totals. January has just surpassed December. Had 20.225 in December and 20.5 so far in January. Add in .3 in November sitting at 41.025 for the year. In order for any winter to be a great winter for me monthly snow has to meet or exceed every monthly average, so far we are doing that.
  20. Nice that there will be snow showers through tomorrow,.
  21. Looking at 6z EPS only out to hour 144 there are 7 members that look good. Lets see if we can improve upon that at 12z
  22. Nope.. with you. I want the excitement and build up but I don't want the shoveling that comes with it. I am sure those on Joshs board is wanting it.
