  1. Report of a woman struck by lightning on a golf course in Newton
  2. Sea breeze looks great on radar. Mini pop up storm over Peterborough NH
  3. They just parked and dumped for a while. Not a drop here.
  4. 88/61 here. Warmest of the year so far KFIT already at 93. Nice!
  5. Timberyard in East Brookfield. One of our favorites. A bunch of items on the food menu are from Stillman’s Farm in Hardwick. It’s an old lumberyard and they converted some of the old lumber sheds to dining spaces. Owners seem super nice
  6. Usually we have to wait until July to get to 80. This weather and the cover have been perfect.
  7. Pool up to 82 86F high. Tried another brewery for outdoor dining. It was awesome. A few popcorn thunderstorms off to our NW
  8. Yeah. The one our friends used was a big wooden box painted black inside with a glass front and black plastic pipe that ran back and forth in the box. Passive other than the pump used to move the water. The our friend’s dad (who we are also friendly with) built it. He is very handy and self sufficient
  9. Some friends of ours in town used to have a house with an indoor pool. They had a solar grid they would pump water through to heat the pool. It was nice My dad had panels that did that for our domestic water at my family’s house back in the late -1970s. It was horrendous for that.
  10. Some friends we know bought a heat pump heater. Electric. Does a nice job but uses a ton of electricity. It would more than double our monthly electric bill. I’m fine with the blanket. I need to make some brackets for it to rest on
  11. 82F for my high. Was hotter yesterday (84). But a warm one to be doing yard work. Pool is up to 78F though. Solar blanket ftw
  12. 77/66 here. High of 84 I was actually able to see some students in my building today as they cleaned out their lockers. It would have been toasty teaching in person today. Remote learning has that one advantage. AC and a pool at the ready
  13. This dry weather has really helped with the mosquitos. My lawn (such as it is) isn’t burnt yet but I have seen some that have. Cool nights. Nice days. Some heat to come
  14. 46F low. We done. We torch upcoming. We summah
  15. Wachusett still has a pile of snow today
  16. C-/D+ for me Close to average seasonal totals 70” Avg prob 72-75” Lack of cold Barely dropped below zero One really good event (really two back to back) in early Dec. 25”. 30” for the month. But after that it was incredibly dull for 3 months April and even May were a bit fun
  17. BOX Zone forecast for my area has highs on Sat/Sun in the 70s. Point n click gets me 87-90 Thurs-Mon. Weird.
  18. 44F low. Three in a row in the 40s to start Hot and dewy
  19. Not really. I did have one bonk the same window twice in a row back in April. I'm typically not home so much either. We did put in a hummingbird feeder a couiple of weeks ago and it's been friggin awesome. They love those. We usually do well with hummingbirds just from our flowers but I never would see them perch.
