  1. My pool is prob around 60F by feel. I haven't put the thermo into it. Big news though, we bought a solar blanket. Now we need some sun
  2. Breezy here all day. Kept the bugs away. Actually felt cool when walking the dog this morning 72.0/64 High of 73.9F

  7. My son hiked up Monadnock today. Pretty socially distant. Usually the top is packed

  9. We have had units in the past that would loosen up as they aged and get loud. The newer ones seem better
  10. Same. My bedroom was partly below ground level which kept it cool. But it was damp (split level ranch). I hated that.
  11. They are also quite inefficient. I get that in some cases it is the only way to do it. I think Ginx has them for the dogs due to window config? I would love to put in 3 or 4 minisplits but they are still pretty pricey
  12. I actually got hurt the other day partly due to pollen. I had sealed our screen porch a couple of weeks ago with Thompson’s It came out nicely. A few days back I was home alone and went to step onto the porch in my socks. There was a very faint coating of pollen that made the decking like an ice rink. I went down like a ton of bricks. I thought I broke something because I swear I heard a snap. just bumps and bruises it appears. My knee and elbow are still hurtin though.
  13. I love the AC (we have window units). Our son is running the one in his room. I was close to installing today. I can live another day without it tomorrow This is the first time since I was a kid that I have enjoyed a bit of heat while working. WFH has some advantages I guess
  14. 83.6F for the high here. Down to 69 now. Ceiling fan will suffice for tonight.

  21. 51F off a high of 67 here. Amazing day Was at Wachusett for a little bit this afternoon. Still some snow on Conifer. That’s rare I think
