  1. Abundance of seals. They have a buffet laid out for them now
  2. I heard the thunder over the AC and we got some rain. But I don’t think it was bad here. Sounded more distant
  3. 85F pool water. Clear. Chemically balanced. Reggae playing. Beer in hand. That’s my jam. Still hoping to hit Misquamicut next week if that tropical threat behaves
  4. I rarely go out much beyond waist level anymore. Part of it comes from watching over my kids. They are a bit older now so that’s less of it. it also depends on the beach and conditions I like to use a boogie board and play in the waves a bit but if the beach is rocky that day... Now I’m farther from my drink
  5. Yup. Not a great solution but it helps. Neat article. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/07/23/894425483/can-masks-save-us-from-more-lockdowns-heres-what-the-science-says
  6. I’m guessing that will take a few months? What a great day weather wise though. Warm but lower humidity. Pool was great.
  7. From the Mass.gov dashboard PLEASE NOTE: A technical reporting error by a hospital group caused a delay in its laboratory test results being reported to DPH. These newly reported test results have been included in today’s dashboard report and are reflected in today’s case totals. However, these positive test results have been assigned retrospectively to the appropriate date of test.
  8. Just seeing that now. So they put earlier data into today’s maybe? https://www.wcvb.com/article/massachusetts-covid-19-cornonavirus-numbers-daily-update-july-29-2020/33460678
  9. Mass numbers not good today. 356 new cases. 2.2%. Wear a freakin mask folks
  10. It’s actually a different band with the same name I think. Not sure if any Covid cases came out of it. The show was in North Dakota and no social distancing or masks.
  11. One article I was reading said they found a seal that had been bitten by a shark. 19 inch bite diameter. That’s a big shark
  12. Here in Mass at least, no one should be avoiding going to see a doctor for anything My 88 year old mil has been going to see her army of doctors for quite a while. Gives her something to complain about to me
  13. Turned off the ac and opened doors. Not so bad now. Same. AC off. Windows open. Feels good
  14. High of 88.5 here, so call it 89. Not bad 76/58 now. Pretty comfy. Pool is amazing. Highest temp ever. 85
  15. I was wondering why they couldn’t make it password secure but I think the Open Meeting laws prevent that or something.
  16. Yeah. They found a tooth fragment. Rough way to go
  17. Last night the district I teach in was going to have a Zoom meeting between the superintendent and her people and the school committee to go over the plans they have been working on since March. This was open to the public. They got Zoom bombed in a pretty disgusting way so it was shut down. Ugh.
  18. It happens here in Mass too. People have given my son shit at his work. There was some dude not wearing his in the grocery store I use this morning. Looked like a toolbag. I kept my distance. sigh. We could squash this fairly quickly if people would be considerate
  19. Leominster State Forest in Fitchburg. Crow Hill swimming area. I haven’t heard of Dunn’s having this issue
