  1. My school has contracted with numerous mental health agencies to help with this as best as we can. They have some counselors set up in the room next to mine.
  2. Yeah. I used to do work there back in the day. Good cafeteria. A friend of mine is a scientist there. The facility in Groton CT is gigantic. Excellent cafeteria.
  3. Yup. And their facility in...Andover? Wilmington? I forget...right on 93 had a lot to do with it. And Moderna of course is from Cambridge and the J&J vax was largely done in Mass as well.
  4. As you (and others) have mentioned it will take a while to gather the data. Can’t call it either way yet
  5. And this study from Japan suggests a rise after a decline https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-020-01042-z
  6. Here is one but it is from just one state (Mass) and early on in the pandemic. I would not take much from it. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2775359
  7. I know the Saturn Vs were super expensive to fly. Plus you would need a crew to assemble it. They would need a vehicle aboard that would allow that. Skylab didn’t need much assembly But I agree with your overall assessment
  8. Different purposes. They should have kept something like Apollo going for sure as well as develop a reliable LEO manner system. Budgets, American desires didn’t allow both. The Space Truck idea was cheaper (they thought). It had so many flaws though
  9. Watching the Challenger series on Netflix. I had forgotten about a lot of this. I also didn’t know it was Reagan who directed NASA to pick a teacher. That’s cool
  10. If it is a business’s requirement I will wear one. I’ve never said anything to someone not wearing one. I really wish people would follow the rules set out by the business (and the state in this case) to make it less stressful for the employees.
  11. I’m sorta surprised they are requiring it for students since it is a state university and the vaccine has not been fully FDA approved. I personally think it is a good idea but not sure if it would pass legal muster. My sons private university is requiring it for the fall. He will have his second dose Wednesday
  12. And that list is places we have not visited yet... and they are only in Mass... NH has some possibilities as well (Keene, NH, I'm looking at you!)
  13. Looking to check out some new breweries within an hour of my house here in central MA this weekend Sadly, some tap rooms are not currently operating, so this is the list I have compiled: Element in Miller's Falls True West - Acton Tackle Box - Marlboro Sterling Street - Clinton Redemption Rock - Worcester Pioneer Valley - Turners Falls (not sure if they have a taproom open...) Lost Shoe - Marlboro Hitchcock - Bernardston Ground Effect - Hudson Flying Dreams - Marlboro Altruist - Sturbridge Anyone have any recommendations from this list or others?
  14. Saw a few flakes while driving through Westminster and Gardner. 35F
  15. Daughter wanted to go. We went shopping with her and a friend all day
  16. Sitting in the Cheesecake Factory in Natick. Thunder, lightning. Pouring rain
  17. Snowing at Sugarloaf this morning
  18. My arm felt more sore after the first dose. After the second I felt a little crappy for around 8 hours the next day. No big deal. Same for my wife. Tetanus shots affect me more
