  1. I didn’t discover sushi until about 10 years ago. Give me a tray of that, or some well done RI calamari. I’m not a huge fan of lobster. I prefer shrimp Not into salmon but I love haddock or cod or mahi mahi. Freshwater fish is also not high on my list Ive had octopus a few times but won’t eat it anymore.
  2. I am definitely not a good seafood cook. I can do it but lack the skill to bring it to the next level. I will cook a number of kinds of seafood: lobster, scallops, fish, etc. but not really clams or mussels or crabs. I like them but just don’t have the knack
  3. ORH still at +5.0F for the month. 5 days in a row of +20 or greater tends to leave a mark. One of the nicest Novembers I can recall
  4. Martini flight I hope And if you want some good food, head over to DS and check out the Boathouse. A lot of the oysters there are from AMarshall
  5. I tried tofurkey once and regretted it. The only other time I recall eating it was at a quick service place in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It was as part of a bowl as the protein and it tasted like croutons a bit. I didn’t hate it but wouldn’t order it again.
  6. We will have my mother in law over. We are with here all the time anyway. I haven’t cooked a turkey in at least 20 years
  7. We are already planning a mask burning party...lol Hopefully during a big March snowstorm
  8. There was a funnel cloud with that system earlier... close but no cigar
  9. CC got 3 tornadoes in 2019... not sure if there were any this year
  10. "Moot" Yeah... case numbers are not a great way to compare due to the huge increase in testing availability. But the hospitalizations, ICUs, and deaths are up a bunch. New "records" (I hate that term) for the first two, and high daily/weekly death #s It is also working its way through the previously untouched rural areas... the Dakotaks/Wyoming, etc are pretty hot right now
  11. I’m not a huge oyster eater but this is sad https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/11/22/metro/pandemic-worsens-oystermen-struggle-remain-afloat/
  12. I hate moving so I don’t tweak something again. A few years ago I would routinely throw out my back every 6 months to a year. Gym/exercise has definitely helped in that. It still happens rarely but I recover faster. Seems to affect men more than women for some reason
  13. South coast of CT and RI going to get drenched again. Lots of moisture on the move
  14. I still think the typical areas could score a nickel or dime type event before 12/10. But the pattern in no bueno for snow lovers for a bit.
  15. Hope you are feeling well. Get those rivers full
  16. These bursts of rain coming in pulses is impressive. Thunder possible?
  17. There are definitely more hospitalizations and ICU cases now, but that is probably due more to increased spread. Deaths are up too. There are additional treatments and maybe people are realizing they have it sooner?
  18. A few flakes in the air out here. Didn’t expect them
  19. It’s funny because in that area you would be less likely to get the ‘vid than in the dirty ‘burg
