  1. Sweaty students returning. That’s something I didn’t miss
  2. Similar here. I think I was off by an inch
  3. I got more in April that all of Jan and March combined
  4. You def need to be able to get the room pretty dark but they are def better than even a few years ago. And not that expensive like you said. Then of course you need a sound system but those aren’t bad. We just use a soundbar. The projector Would not work for my house because we don’t have a wall big enough (lots of Windows)
  5. Yeah. I think that is July as well?
  6. Having a 65”-75”+ screen with a decent soundbar or system is definitely more doable for many. The home experience can also reduce distractions and offer other benefits (pausing for the bathroom etc) Our great room/family room is set up as a theater-ish with reclining seats etc But I still like to sit in a proper theater.
  7. Theater visits were already down prior to Covid. 5% in 2019. As Phin (and I many months ago) and others have posted, boutique theaters (with food etc) will be what survives This has been forecast for literally decades. I am interested in the July release of Black Widow. Curious to see how it does when compared to similar Marvel films like Ant Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel (in terms of scope)
  8. There will be more people in theaters once studios start putting them in there. Right now there are only a couple of new ones. The big tent pole one (King Kong vs Godzilla) got terrible reviews so it isn’t packing them in Out local place is doing better now. They sold out many weekends of the rentals and now are doing public shows.
  9. Meanwhile... Full disclosure, this was yesterday
  10. I would imagine so other than a few piles.
  11. They say they are limiting them again this upcoming year, and they are starting to sell them in early May. If you are looking for a little bit of a discount, I have a GPS group which usually saves you $10 per pass. I am assuming they are limiting them again (hopefully with more available) because they make way more dough on day tickets
  12. Yeah... I am not thinking any frozen but a tiny chance
  13. It was on Christmas itself which was even suckier. But, in exchange, we got pretty much zero big torches or cutters after that... just not much snow other than that period in Feb (which was great).
  14. I was around a foot AN. Bust losing Jan and March sucked
  15. One issue in my area at least is restaurants are having difficulty finding staff. I’ve spoken to owners of three separate businesses who have said this. They are busy. Wachusett had a pretty successful season $$$ wise talking to someone we know in their accounting.
  16. Rainy possibly. Tiny chance of another frozen event but I doubt.
  17. One positive is that we just now purchased a Keurig K Cafe machine and I’m happy to report is it makes decent cappuccinos. Got a good deal on it
  18. They seemed very out of touch with this storm from the start. It seems to have happened a few times this season but this one was very noticeable.
  19. BOX kept asking for updated reports but never included anything past my 6:30AM one. So it shows Hubbardston at 4.5”. I sent in several reports during the storm and at the end but they were ignored
  20. 82.50” for the season after 8.50” today. Above average but weird
