Yeah... I've heard different spins on this... We voted early not so much due to Covid, but for our work schedules it was better (and quick... no line at all)
My building has been used as a polling place for at least 10-12 years. I've never seen the parking lot so full on election day or the lines to wait... and that's after Mass has had a record number of early voters... and the weather is good at least!
Yeah. It would be good if they would target this stuff more precisely.
I walked my dog around our entire hood this afternoon (freakin’ cold) without a mask. We saw...no one. Maybe some kids playing in a yard. I don’t think they will arrest me
We gave out full sized bars and had them set out on an illuminated table in our driveway. We sat by a fire pit some distance away. We still have a ton of bars left
Got pretty cold towards the end. Our town for some reason extended trick or treat by an hour. It was 27F when we wrapped things up. Way fewer trick or treaters
Just need to slow it down. That was always the idea. Buy time until effective treatments and vaccine are developed. Masks and social distancing help in that a bit. Not 100%. Testing helps slow down outbreaks a bit. Not 100%.
Im hopeful this year’s flu vaccine is effective. Plus there is some (albeit weak) evidence it might be helpful vs Covid-19
