  4. I almost burned my house down a few years ago. Some bald faced hornets made a nest (volleyball sized) in a bush in front of my house. After dark I doused it in Raid (2 full cans) then torched it with a gasoline soaked rag 20 foot high flames I front of our daughters bedroom oops

  11. I disagree. At least around here Getting into the local vocational school (our son went) is hard. Not enough spots. He is continuing his education to go into the construction field Very competitive My district has its own vocational part and that is always full.
  12. We need...a Shrubbery!! Does it matter what type of surface is underneath my weather station? Yes, the surface type affects the temperature measured at your station. Generally speaking, black surfaces (asphalt, black shingles) measure warmer temperatures than lighter colored surfaces (gravel, grey shingles). Ideally, your weather station should be placed 5 feet over short grass or low shrubs.
  13. MA Covid numbers have been much better the last week or so. Below 2% positive. Hopefully that spike was short lived. Im hoping to be able to work with my students in person at least part time of this keeps up. Still can’t do labs though. I ran the sprinklers for a while today. Hadn’t needed to do that in a while
