  1. Right. But that was a few days ago. Hope he is ok
  2. Try walking in the shoes of your fellow man or woman.
  3. I didn’t live I the Hubb then. I was at UMass Lowell. It was a pretty good storm there. Lots and lots of imbibing
  4. I’m not sure what I would even shutdown. Gyms maybe? That was the one place my wife’s pulmonologist said she shouldn’t really go back to. Even then, I haven’t heard of those being spreader havens. Maybe just let it be. Encourage people to be careful, wash hands, wear fun masks.
  5. It will get there. Just slowly. My little hamlet was briefly in the old red before they dropped back into grey. Wash yer hands
  6. That is the first time I have heard this story. You have just advanced several notches in my book Kudos
  7. They still cannot do gym in person. Our school's gym is now being used as a second cafeteria. They are stuck doing all of their classes remotely.
  8. The amount of effort put in by our custodial staff, admins, support staff and teacher, on a budget of close to zero, to make our building as safe as possible has been astounding. I understand it is hard for a lot of kids and parents to accept the way it has been set up, the new rules etc. but if we are going to stay open we have to follow state and CDC guidelines as much as possible I’m trying to make it fun and close to normal but damn it is hard. And the crap thrown at us by much of the public has been reprehensible. We are not the ones closing the schools or writing the mandates. Local elected school boards and health officials determine that
  9. Remote learning is great for some kids. But for many many kids it does not work. I just got to meet another cohort of my students today. For the last two months I only saw them through a screen. I hope we can keep them coming to school but the community spread in the city is soaring.
  10. It might wind up being true today but probably will be short of that
  11. That was from yesterday and I didn’t see any sites that had that high of a number
  12. We pay for price protection so we can ride the lows. Costs a little bit but I don’t have to chase
  13. The Moderna vaccine supposedly only has to be kept at -4F I think... that would be helpful
  14. My brother went back in August. He said it was ok. Different. He goes twice per year generally. We enjoy it but out of our budget now, plus I don’t want to fly
  15. Cali Grill was one of my top dinners I have ever eaten. Beach Club is a great location for Epcot and the Studios. We have not stayed at the Villas there but in the main hotel. Tusker is meh so not missing much. I would go over to Animal Kingdom Lodge and do Boma or Jiko instead. Or in Animal Kingdom itself Tiffins was very good a couple of years ago. And Satuli Canteen is fun
  16. Yeah. Those are expensive but you can really get the big ones knocked out quickly. I do recommend that app though. The Disney numbers run a bit high compared to reality I’m guessing that is to make you feel better. “The wait was supposed to be 60 minutes but we got through in 40.” That kind of thing Amy good dining plans besides Brown Derby?
  17. Do you use the Lines app? The guy that runs that (Len Testa) is awesome
  18. Oh yes. I think they are running at 25% park capacity. State allows 100% but they are being conservative. So far no spread detected from the parks and resorts. A bunch of stuff is closed though. Several hotels, restaurants. No parades or nighttime shows. Very little entertainment
  19. Not really. Lines look long due to spacing but they are down from typical
  20. They think this is nothing. No one dies. No one has long term health effects
  21. That’s the model we are in now. Our daughter has a variation on that. My wife is back to 5 days a week with the kids and some families are doing remote
