  1. Out daughter’s piano teacher has a house from 1762 or something. Many fireplaces. Many years of big snow edit. 1729. Wow!
  2. Our guy has been offering a decent number of older films for cheap prices. We booked it for under $100 but we will buy lots of snacks to help him out. 25 maximum people per theater. If there is something you want to see that he isn't offering he will make attempts to work a deal with the distributors. There will just be 8 of us in the theater for this one. He has been selling popcorn, candy, etc since back in April or so to try to stay open. We have eaten a ton of popcorn!
  3. Prob a little. Month should finish slightly AN in SNE is my guess.
  4. Our local cinema has been allowing small private showings of films for a number of weeks. I just booked a screen to show Empire Strikes Back for my family for next Saturday.... a 40 year old film that I own in several formats

  7. We use our oil furnace for our hot water so it runs all year. Just much less in the summer. I do need to get mine cleaned though
  8. 34F low here. I put the heat on for a few minutes downstairs
  9. I do think we get at least 1 more slug of warm stuff before the end of the month...like some low 80s type stuff down here... maybe in 7-10 days? Otherwise, we are on to Han Solo season
  10. Yeah... BDL, BOS, PVD are all less than 1.0F AN, ORH still has some work to do at +1.5F, but that will be gone by Tuesday
  11. Yeah. Looks pretty widespread I saw a tiny bit the other morning on roofs but even that might have been a mirage
  12. I think we drive past there on our way to Santa's Village (well, when the kids were younger)
  13. Those will be pretty nice places, but prob pricey. The Mt. Washington is very $$$
  14. Sure looks that way. I saw a touch of it on some neighbors roofs yesterday morning
  15. I have seen news stories showing this. Of course those don’t attract viewers and readers. But as the old saying goes, if it bleeds, it leads. Back in the first couple of months of this, John Krazinski (The Office, Jack Ryan, etc) did a series of awesome YouTube videos called The Good News. It was all positive stories. We enjoyed those greatly
