  1. Yeah. Those are expensive but you can really get the big ones knocked out quickly. I do recommend that app though. The Disney numbers run a bit high compared to reality I’m guessing that is to make you feel better. “The wait was supposed to be 60 minutes but we got through in 40.” That kind of thing Amy good dining plans besides Brown Derby?
  2. Do you use the Lines app? The guy that runs that (Len Testa) is awesome
  3. Oh yes. I think they are running at 25% park capacity. State allows 100% but they are being conservative. So far no spread detected from the parks and resorts. A bunch of stuff is closed though. Several hotels, restaurants. No parades or nighttime shows. Very little entertainment
  4. Not really. Lines look long due to spacing but they are down from typical
  5. They think this is nothing. No one dies. No one has long term health effects
  6. That’s the model we are in now. Our daughter has a variation on that. My wife is back to 5 days a week with the kids and some families are doing remote
  7. I concur. I finally got to meet some of my students this week. And many of them seem to be in some type of shock. I do think it will gradually come back to “normal” for them. I’m trying to do things as close to normal in my classroom but it is so different. I really hope we get to keep it going but I fear the community will cause the plug to be pulled. As it is we had a number of families who had initially signed off on hybrid switch their kids back to remote. I think it will become a tsunami
  8. Would not shock me Same thing with the Notre Dame football game...
  9. Well, we can of course. But the national psyche will continue to suffer if that is the case.
  10. No leaves here. My dogwood is dropping a ton though.
  11. Oof. Of course Maine had a really low floor so it will take a little while
  12. Yeah. I don’t think a stimulus like the previous one or a lockdown like earlier would be the answer. Targeted to high risk activities and focus $$$ on businesses and industries that would be affected. Have it be for a definite time period (3-4 weeks?) and have it decisive. We can’t afford to stay at 100k-150k new cases and 1000+ daily deaths from this.
  13. A stimulus that is well done could help with a lockdown. Tamp down the cases for a little while. Get us through some of the winter.
  14. Good news on that Eli Lilly antiviral yesterday. Got overshadowed by the Pfizer news. Another tool in the arsenal
  15. This might be the only year that I would not mind winter holding off.
  16. It is very weird to be walking in a t shirt at 4:20 and the sun setting
  17. For some kids and families remote can work well. But I have a bunch of kids who live in chaos. School is sane and safe in the building. They are not learning at home Others can do extremely well. It suits their learning styles etc. My wife just went back to in person after a week and a half of remote. Not sure if it lasts. Our super just sent out a district email that sounded ominous.
  18. Damn. The city next to where I work (KFIT) just pushed back their hybrid learning to January. We JUST got kids back in our building this week in hybrid and I fear we will be going back to remote soon. This suuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkks so much. Hybrid isn't great (and some think it is worse for Covid) but the kids have been mostly very happy to be back at least 2 days per week. KORH isn't hybrid until at least January as wel
