We went into Boston yesterday for the first time since Feb 2020 to the science museum. On the museum website they said the “recommended “ mask wearing. I did that (wore one) not knowing what it would be like inside. Most had them on. Felt odd. Other than a quick trip into my doctor’s office it was my first time wearing a mask since mid June at work. I’m hoping this slight increase doesn’t cancel my upcoming trip

For me it would be more of a $$$ issue. Would it save me money/time? Not there yet. But closer. The grid is a big issue.

Yeah. A lot of trade offs. You can make clean electricity but the grid can have problems. The batteries need to be recycled and that is tricky to do right. Lots of interesting solutions out there but most are in their infancy. Baby steps

I recently watched a video about EVs that was interesting. There was a study that looked at what American car buyers would want before a majority would consider an EV: 1) price under $36000 2) Range of 290 miles 3) ability to charge from almost empty to almost full in 31 minutes or less We are close but not quite there

I got an EGo self propelled mower with a 7.5 Ah 56V ARC lithium battery and fast charger. So quiet and little maintenance needed. I will be getting one of their weed trimmers next year. Maybe the leaf blower too

I will say again how much I am enjoying my new battery powered mower. That thing is the cats meow. I can do my entire yard and still have almost half a battery charge left

I haven’t been so thankful for sun and dry weather in such a long time. This is great. Wish it would last a bit

First full sun dog walk in a while. Nailed a few deer flies with the zapper. They were slow and bumbly due to the cooler temps. Later today they should be vicious

What is your pool temp at? Ours is only 70F (using 2 cheap thermometers). My work was cancelled for today so some mowing and patio work in store
