Wow. In my school over a third of the families have requested to keep their kids at home full time. And that was before the return decision was made... not sure how that might change. Oh well... the oysters need to be shucked!

I am fine with it. My wife has had kids in her classes off and on for a while. Remote teaching is incredibly hard. Remote learning for some kids is a disaster. Hybrid isn’t great but at least it is something. I do miss doing hands in labs with the kids. I wanna blow up some hydrogen!!!

Back to a semi weather related item. Our daughter’s school district is having them go remote tomorrow due to cold. Wind chills -15 to -20.
