  1. I guessing the sensor is off. They are pretty tarmac-y at KASH I seem to recall (ie placed near a runway etc)
  2. 87/72 at KFIT. This will be a scorcha
  3. Blizz slipping in caterpillar poop as he runs in the 4th of July rain.
  4. I would never have thought of the Dakotas but I have been watching vids about them and seeing your posts makes me consider that area
  5. Do they have the manufacturing capacity to make their own? I truly don’t know.
  6. Percent positive is orders of magnitude lower among fully vaccinated people. No vaccine is 100% protective though.
  7. Under 5% of Australia has been vaccinated (week old info).
  8. Was 2012 a washout? I can’t recall what year it was...
  9. 83/72 here. At least the sun is out
  10. Good luck finding ACs in the NW https://www.king5.com/amp/article/news/local/heat-wave-ac-shortage/281-7103ab31-365a-44e1-aa24-df5aae0d60b3
  11. Many Pacific Northwesterners don’t have consistent access to air conditioning: Fewer than two-thirds of households in Oregon have air conditioning, according to Kaiser Permanente Northwest. According to 2019 figures from the U.S. Census Bureau, Seattle has the lowest rate of air-conditioned homes of any major American city. Only 44% of the homes in the metro area have air conditioning. In the Portland metro area, that figure was 79%.
  12. All three are prob too high for here but we shall see. 94 would really be hard to do but this type of setup would be the way
  13. Tuesday’s BOX point n click has me at 98. That is unusual It is hard to even get above 90 here
  14. Well...Anchorage might have less. I would say of major cities yes
  15. And his wife died in that. I can’t imagine something like that event
  16. Can you throw one up for Portland OR?
  17. One thing I didn’t realize (based on what friends in the PacNW are telling me) is that very few people in that area have AC.
  18. It was sad that no Canadians were around. That area is usually wall to wall people from Nee Brunswick and Nova Scotia etc
  19. Pretty much all of the businesses we went into had signs saying masks were not required if fully vaccinated. But no one was checking etc. it’s done.
  20. It was funny to see masks on sale in shops for 50-75% off.
  21. One note about masking. We just got back from our little Maine trip. The hotel we stayed at had a “mask required” in common areas sign on the door. As we were checking in (we put on masks, the employee behind glass did not) we asked and he confirmed masks were required in common areas. Ok. So we masked when in those areas. Almost no one else did. It was awkward. In restaurants, shops etc almost no one had masks other than servers at some restaurants. It was odd
