  1. We’ve discussed burying electric lines before. Wasn’t it over $1 million per mile years ago? I can’t even get my road paved….
  2. We have thought about retiring near/in there, but the tax implications for us might prevent it. Still a ways off
  3. Leaves…lots of rain this summer. There could be issues
  4. Still going with the strong Cat 1 at LF?
  5. Our son is missing this by a week sadly. One of his roommates is already on campus.
  6. Yep I misread the original post. I thought they were looking for Hurricane warnings.
  7. Hyannis Airport only has TS Warning
  8. Yeah. It’s odd. I guess it will be delayed a few minutes
  9. It still seems like the algorithm/refreshing is off a bit
  10. I love how Sam has traded his earlier saggy boob snow maps in New Hampshire for his fancy Tron themed maps
  11. I would not be telling people it would LF as a strong Cat 1.
  12. Not sure if this was posted earlier. Lot of non solid precipitation
  13. It’s roaring like a jet engine! Davis says 10…must be a bad sensor
  14. For us it is not a big deal unless your basement is prone to getting wet. Yesterday was possibly a bigger deal in this area.
  15. Fisher just mentioned that if there is a GFS like landfall in SRI it happens at low tide. So that helps
  16. Not worried about that at all. He’s missing a good storm though.
  17. We were just beaching at the Andrea next door on Tuesday. How is the Pleasant View?
  18. Our son’s dorm is right on the Bay in Bristol RI. Unfortunately he doesn’t move in until the 30th
  19. I was in Foxboro for Gloria and Lowell for Bob. Lots of tree damage in Gloria. Just rain for Bob. The coast was a different story.
  20. Beavertail in Jamestown? Although they will likely close that. Take the ferry to BI
  21. Tropical caveats for the NAM apply
  22. Some people around here with very old homes have almost dirt cellar floors. We get some seepage into our cellar but it has somehow improved over the years as things shift
  23. No one lives there so it’s all good. Seriously you are prob right about those areas. I am still thinking it ticks east a bit
  24. Rain. Lots of it. Seriously concerned about the freshwater flooding in E CT and RI and SE Mass.
