While I disagreed with some of their decisions, they wound up being right. Not sure I would have wanted to gamble with lives like that. Good for them. Likewise I have def disagreed with how some of the leadership here did things. Now we move on.

Deaths have been pretty bad (no denying that), but the people who have had long term issues with heart and lung ailments after Covid is what concerned me the most. I have not seen numbers of long haulers. This was a pretty nasty virus for many

Agreed. My land abuts some land owned by the state. There is a path that ATVs take and I am fine with them riding through, but when they start gunning the engines and doing donuts etc. it irks me. Like I mentioned I haven't called the cops, but so close. I don't feel that I can really go over to them and talk to them either. They then go out onto our road and go to the enxt trail. Not usually a big deal but sometimes.

A while back (20+ years ago?) someone rigged a wire across a popular dirt bike trail in a sand pit near my house. A kid/adult was killed.

There are places for them. Not down busy city streets or in public parks or next to my property on state land. I’ve never called the cops on them but I wish they were respectful of neighbors

I just closed my eyes and sent it. The on-ramp from 290 is sketchy now though Tons of good places to eat in that area as well

A family we are friends with went to the opener. They report the experience is very well done Amazing that a few year ago that area was a wasteland

Yeah... my wife hasn't returned to her gym since masks are required for classes. Hopefully that is all set now/soon

And all kidding aside, regarding the Yankees, none of them (maybe one of them has some mild symptoms?) are sick... that's really what the vaccine is supposed to do... keep you from getting seriously sick, right?

I am kinda jealous of my wife. When we got jabbed in March they gave her a spiffy little lanyard thing to put her card in. Mine is in a ziplock bag. A store brand one at that

Same here. In a drawer I will need it to travel this summer though.
