  1. Some accumulation from my limited view here in Leominster. Maybe 1/2" to an inch but I'm in one of the courtyard thing at my building. Not a good representation
  2. Storage has been a big issue. That is getting better... all of the technologies are getting better but some of that is still sourced outside the US which blows
  3. Not oil Coal (yuck), natural gas, nuclear are the big 3 Plenty of wind and solar potential out there so, plus a sprinkling of other techs (olive pits, etc)
  4. Ice is always a tricky one. If it is is the middle of the day I would question it for sure. Predawn, go with safety 1-2" of snow in March shouldn't require cancellations etc.
  5. "Energoatom (Ukraine energy agency) said there were about 20,000 spent fuel assemblies at Chernobyl that could not be kept cool amid a power outage. Their warming could lead to "the release of radioactive substances into the environment. The radioactive cloud could be carried by wind to other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Europe," it said in a statement."
  6. That's weird. My daughter's district has a half day 1 Wednesday of every month. Happens to be today. She will be home before it is even snowing. Granted, it will come into CT sooner, but should not be an issue on the roads... March, temps might be above freezing.
  7. Agreed. Just take more care going home as warrented.
  8. I worked with lazy/unmotivated people when I was younger (35 years ago). I worked with other lazy folks later on (20 years ago), and still encounter them today... I'm not so sure it is a "new" thing
  9. 5" will be hard to pull off. Lots working against it. Good luck! 1-3" for most in SNE
  10. Come on feel the cold Fella isn’t old Wolf gets wild wild wild Wild wild wild
  11. Pivotal Euro clown has you getting 10-12". Let's see if that holds
  12. Ah... I was rushing. My bad. Yeah... I am a bit optimistic about Saturday
  13. Looks to be more focused S of the Pike. I am expecting a little snow, but prob not plowable, etc (although my town's DPW plowed for last week's 0.75" "event") Blizz over to Ginx could get 2-4"
  14. That 12z HRRR run gives me optimism. It has been pretty decent this winter. Not sure I but the 4+" the TT clown spits out for MBY , but a couple of inches would be nice
  15. We also get a good deal more snow in March than November. But it is fleeting most times
  16. I bet 75% of your posts include the word "pal"...lol Might be a nice little event for the CT / RI folks. Not expecting much in my 'hood
  17. A few minutes of intense rain blasting against the house. Impressive.
  18. It would be fitting if the best events this winter were a ten minute snow squall and a 5 minute thunderstorm
