    Anyone have an explanation for this heating system problem: We have an oil fired boiler Power was out for about 20 hours. Got to around 52F inside the house When the power came back on, the heating system came on A little bit later (within an hour) a pipe in the back of the system started discharging water. It is warm/hot water. About a gallon, 1.5 gallons per hour Expansion tank?

    Around 9” seems average in my front yard. Not sure I have the materials here to do an accurate w/e. It’s the changes back and forth between snow and rain that make it difficult to deal with. I’m also dealing with water draining from my furnace. That’s never happened to us before

    What a shitshow at home. Most of the town is without power including our fire stations. I had cleared the drivewat yesterday but DPW overnight built a concrete wall at the end which I had to partially clear to get to work. No coffee...

    Yeah. They had trouble early on with icing getting making it hard to open the lifts. Then the power cut out late afternoon. This storm packed a punch.

    Models look like they have around 2-5" of new snow from the Weds system here. Kinda hard to take out the remainder of today's totals but those are my goalposts for now

    5.0” storm total here. The last two hours or so have been fairly good
