Winds kept blowing through the house slamming doors in the middle of the night, rattling blinds. It was rather annoying

Magic? I don’t really know but it does radiate well here. But it’s not really colder here than surrounding towns most of the time.

A little lower than surrounding hills but not much difference. There is a ridge about 200’ higher (250?) sorta near me. But it is somewhat flat.

There are almost zero leaves still on trees here. Our dogwood still has them. That is always the most to drop.

The yellowjackets at the brewery are telling me this is strange for November. If CC leads to more of those mfuckers…

71F here and windy. Sun finally out. We went to Leominster for a bit and saw 76F on Rte 2. This is great! Off to Oakholm in a bit. Lots of yellowjackets out there I’m told

The top of my trash container had some water on it. We had a light mist earlier when walking the dog. Maybe a tiny bit of rain fell here?

Here the dews were in the 40s for the torch in 2020 until the last day or so. Then we got some 60s it appears of course that was just at a local PWS so grains of salt and all.

Prob a good idea. One of my bathroom fans is currently not working at all (no shower etc in that one) and the other one is pretty loud. I need to replace both of them

Here in the hills we had 3-4 days with highs around 75. So 80s we’re probably pretty common

Stick season is almost here. Maybe 5-10% of oak leaves. At my mother in laws house there are still tons of leaves on her trees

When was the last weekend we had rain during daylight hours? Feels like it’s been awhile

The only Halloween. I can recall being cancelled or postponed here was for the 2011 Octobomb. That just delayed it by a week. We had trick or treating even for Halloween 2020 despite the sub freezing temps and snow on the ground and Covid. It was different but it still happened here. We set up a table in our driveway, had a fire pit , and stayed 6 feet or more from the kids when needed. We spread out the candy on the table so they weren’t digging in a bowl. Last year was back to normal. Definitely fewer kids come by now than 20 years ago and that is probably due to our small town setting up activities in our “downtown”.

Of course now that I bought a bunch of full sized candy bars etc it will shift towards the KFS…
