  1. The trail he died on is visible from their main lift. It sounds like someone riding the lift saw it and called it into ski patrol or 911. It is a short, narrow one that is very unforgiving. Straight with big trees on each side. I don’t enjoy it because it ices up easily
  2. 2015-2016 was a big hose. 36” or so. 2011-2012. 44” but 24” was in October. it happens. I wonder if this area has ever gotten truly porked. Like less than 15-20” for a season.
  3. I was just watching some news footage of the 2006 floods. Mish Michaels RIP
  4. Point is spring “threats” rarely pan out unless you have altitude and latitude. Not much of those where people live in SNE. I still might get some stat padders but overall it is on to mud and bugs
  5. I hated those floods. The Merrimack was a disaster in Lowell. I lived pretty far off campus and mostly walked to my classes. The flooding added a significant amount of extra miles for a bit
  6. That ad was probably purchased months ago and probably didn’t cost very much. Do you remember CMGI Field?
  7. Yeah. I hate that trail. I will ski it once or twice per season to remind myself why
  8. Another 25" of frozen her eby the end of that run... sell
  9. It's an old Gilligan's Island quote...
  10. You mean funny funny or funny strange?
  11. 67 y.o. skier was killed at Wachusett this morning after hitting a tree. Sucks
  12. I'm definitely not banking onanything, especially this far out. I don't think I am done yet (although I wouldn't mind flipping to warm and dry for a bit)
  13. 0z Euro and GFS are close to warning snows for he and I
  14. Part of my neighborhood is underground. My half is above ground. But they all meet up with above ground at the end of the street so it doesn’t matter much other than asthetics
  15. Pack took a beating today for sure.
  16. Saw a story about it (burying electric utilities). I had always thought it was $1 million per mile. This report had it $4-6 million per mile. An older study had pegged Massachusetts as needed $1 trillion to bury then statewide.
  17. Oh gosh. I read that book during college back in the 1980s. I had totally forgotten about it.
  18. It was Canadian electricity anyways. Always being polite and saying “aboot” and eating poutines.
  19. GFS is rains to Maine... so you can ride that
