  1. How do they get those to spin. The current record is like 1200’ in diameter. Sweet
  2. Above normal snowfall. One huge event at the end Above avg temps. Weird season. Not my ideal one but I won’t meh it. Especially when everyone else in SNE was royally porked.
  3. Yup. Moving on here as well. Mud season is magical.
  4. I only know the Whites region. I would love to retire there. Or somewhere by the ocean.
  5. Probably getting close in S RI though
  6. Yep. Although I can drive to three breweries within 20 minutes. Wachusett, Moon Hill, and Stone Cow. Not many nice restaurants in that circle though.
  7. With a lot of decent jobs offering remote it is easier to live in a snowy zone today. Families can easily handle living a rural life. Not everyone is in an air conditioned soccer mom/dad bubble.
  8. A lot of these snowy places (hi…my town) are not great at the other pleasantries of life…. But plenty of snow most years
  9. I still don't understand how it just "fell over". Wasn't even moving and just went bloop...
  10. I think I'm good with flipping to spring and warmth right now. This time of year it torches away pretty quickly, but it has taken a while for it to melt out completely. Pretty gross out there this morning... If it snows it snows... but I think I am mostly done
  11. I'm still noticing some weird graphical glitches on the Pivotal GFS snow maps (not that I am counting on them). The resolution seems way rougher
  12. Weenies deflated. This seems appropos for the season for most. I think the general public will be elated.
  13. Cool, sunny day for much of New England
  14. Anyone else getting some weird maps with the Pivotal 18z GFS?
  15. He already sent his team home for summer vacation. He brings in his other squad for fantasy baseball and the tropics
  16. Somehow we held our power last week despite losing 2 trees, one up against the house. Some parts of town had piles and lines down for a while In January the outages were longer and more widespread.
  17. All of our trees are down here from January and last week so we would be good.
  18. Still a phantom for now but it keeps showing up in some way... one eye on it
  19. Eh. 30F here. Should warm up and help melt
