Very light rain just started 38.3/28 Bit hard to see but looks to be snowing at the top of the ridgeline to my west at 2300 or so feet

Last year right around this time I had my first decent snow. From that point on except for a brief period around Christmas I had constant snow cover until spring. Can NNE do it again? Although it's a small system the rain/snow line will be right through the Plymouth NH area. Will be interesting for me to watch what happens tomorrow PM. For everyone north of me, congrats....

I never thought of that. NE Kingdom has crappy radar coverage so obviously it will show much lower qpf than actually fell.

PF, big difference in precipation from W VT to E VT. After a dry September I ended up with 5.7" in October. Here is October rainfall for NNE.

I flew my drone up over my house to take a look north towards the Whites and snow cover. The only snow I could see was the very top of the Franconia Range and distant Mount Washington. I couldn't even see any snow on top of Cannon. Of course I'm looking north 35 miles so if there is an inch or so I'm not going to be able to see it. Still it's neat to fly the drone a few hundred feet over my house and be able to see most of the Whites to the north.

One last lawn picture. I cheat because I have a lawn service. You can see the difference between the hill area that they treat and the base which is "as is". Still quite a few leaves on the trees, oaks hanging on....also this is a good picture of my mast for the VP2. Just the anemometer up here the base station is out in the field

46F Mostly cloudy with occasional mist showers. Cloudy to the north but lots of sun to the south. Very typical for upslope situations. Still have not had any frozen anything this season last year on this date had some snow.

Got in a drone flight this morning before the storm takes the leaves. The warm water of Newfound Lake always form the fog cloud on cold mornings.

I have a doctors appt in Plymouth on Thursday AM. Depending on how it works out I might take a quick ride up to Franconia Notch. I also watch Alex's cam to see what is happening around 1500 feet in the Whites.

Great day. High of 64F. Peak foliage in my opinion was this AM. Southwest wind is bringing down leaves. This weeks storm should bring down all the leaves except the oaks. Stick season begins in a few days.

Starting October here socked in the low clouds at my house. 51F. Got almost .20" of welcomed rain last night. Further north brought plenty of rain in September while areas a bit further south missed out. Today warm air lurks to the south. Will it make it in here later? First true fall cold air to move in soon to end the growing season for all. Perhaps the first flakes for some too??

Looks like hurricane after hurricane is going to come towards the east coast and round the bend and head out. Lots of watching the next couple of weeks but just teases. This could all change but that is how it's looking at this junture.

Model trends sure are not getting me excited for any tropical action up here. On a side note, what is going on with the death toll in the Bahamas? Official death toll at 50 for many days. I'm sure they have gotten some heavy equipment into that storm surge area of Great Abaco with all those shanties. From what people were saying on the ground the smell of death is everywhere in the air but nobodies? Maybe because it was a poor area with a Haitian population these people somehow don't count. Just seems like such a disconnect. 1500 missing but the death toll never rises not even by 1 or 2 people. There must be some political reason to keep it low?

He knew his stuff. I don't know the direction those windows faced but it would have been deadly in that room if the wind had blown in instead of from the back of the room.
